How To Log In At Home

Once you obtain your child’s username and password from the teacher, you will enter it in here, then click on the log in tab.

This is what it will look like when your child logs into the system:

(This is the screen for Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2.)

(This is the screen for Grades 3, 4 and 5.)

Your child will have three options once he/she is in the system. They are “To Do," “Explore” or “Help."

In the “To Do” option, the teacher will assign one or more lessons, online quizzes or tests to the students. This is where the student will go in order to do the assignment the teacher has assigned.

Click on the “To Do” tab, then on to the lesson assigned.

In the “Explore” option, students can go to any lesson in any unit in their textbook. They can do the same thing here that they can in the “To Do” option, except taking quizzes. To go to a particular lesson, click on a unit, then the lesson desired.

Here, students have several options. They are the same except for in the Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade versions where there is a song for each unit. This feature does not exist in Grades 3, 4 and 5.

Introduction: A 30-second video introduces the lesson.
Vocabulary: Lists all the vocabulary words for the lesson as well as reads them aloud. When you see the green speaker appear while moving your mouse across the word, click your mouse. (Make sure your speakers are plugged in and your volume is turned up)
Video: 3-5 minute video about the lesson.
Student Text: This is the same text as in the Social Studies textbook; therefore, if your child forgets his/her book, he/she can access the textbook on this site. This section also has the read aloud function so that the text can be read to your child aloud.
Interactive Practice: Either a game or a reading/writing activity for students to do.
Print Partner: Note taking activity. This can be printed.
Find Out More: Enrichment Activity, which can be printed.
Content Reader: Small leveled individual books for students related to each unit. These can also be read aloud to your child. (Songs are for Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2 only.)
